Q1 2021 Brazil Sports Games Performance on Android: An Overview

In the first quarter of 2021, the sports gaming category on Android devices saw dynamic engagement in Brazil. Sensor Tower provides a closer look at the trends and numbers that shaped the top 5 sports games during this period.

8 Ball Pool by Miniclip.com maintained strong performance with downloads peaking at nearly 280K in the last week of December 2020 and then gradually declining to around 260K by the end of March 2021. The weekly active users followed a similar trend, starting at 2.4M and experiencing a rise in March, reaching 2.6M. Revenue for the game showcased a downward trend from approximately $62K in the last week of December to about $39K at the end of March.

Shooting Ball, despite not generating revenue, experienced a significant number of downloads, starting the quarter strong with 376K and then seeing a decrease, settling at around 90K by the end of March. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, decreasing from 1.4M to slightly under 850K.

Soccer Super Star from Real Freestyle Soccer also showed an interesting pattern, with downloads initially at 285K and then decreasing to around 166K by the end of March, while weekly active users dipped from 954K to roughly 788K in the same period.

For Pooking - Billiards City, published by MOUNTAIN GAME, the downloads fluctuated, with an initial number of 142K, a mid-quarter peak at 173K, and then a slight decrease to 138K. The game's weekly active users saw an increase from 1.2M to 1.3M by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, Shooting Archery also had no revenue but witnessed a rise in downloads from 55K to a peak of 155K in early March, before dropping to 88K. Its active user base grew from 97K to 253K in early March and then slightly decreased to around 166K.
